Donald J. Trump’s mother Mary Ann Macleod had lived a life more miracle than her son Donald J. Trump. In many people’s eyes, Trump is born with golden spoon in a rich family running real estate business. He isn’t indeed as his mother Mary Ann Macleod was born in a quite common family. But she had lived her life as a miracle.

Mary Ann was born from a fishing village in Scotland. Her ancestors are fisherfolks and she was the youngest among her 10 siblings. If her family was just okay in financial condition, she would have be lucky enough to marry a good man and live a normal life. However, ambition on her has created her life with wonders and miracles.

As Mary Ann grew up, she knew about herself better. Different from many women, she didn’t accept all so generously. At her teenage time, her country was stuck in war and she was unstable in her heart. When her sister in America has invited her to have a visit in America, she made a quick reply by answering yes and she was determined not to be back her home again.

She stepped onto the ship to America with 50 dollars gathered by her family members at her birthday time. The first difficulty Mary encountered in Scotland was her language competence because she had only learned a little english in school as her second language. She had to seek help from her elder sister and became a housemaid as her first job by the time her arrived in America. Her sister, who relied on her was a housemaid as well. Life condition of her seemed never become better than that when she was in her fishing village hometown. But she never regreted about her own choice as she was very clear that she was confronting with a bigger world, from which she had got vision and opportunities which couldn’t be found in her fishing village town.

She worked hard on working days and bought herself something pretty and went to the ball when she had her free time. She was lucky enough to meet Fred Trump occassionaly at a ball. By then Fred Trump was running real estate business with her mother. The two young people immediately fell in love by ignoring their gap in social status. Fred Trump was a good man as he loved Mary Ann and took her back to see his mother, and even prepared for her marriage. However, in Great Depression time, Mary Ann had lost her job and she silently went back to her fishing village hometown again.

When a person’s vision had been broadened, he or she will never be stucked into small things. True confident people can always be strong in simplicity. She was still unsatisfied with life in her small village home during her return time. With strong courage, Mary returned back to New York again where her boyfriend Fred Trump was still waiting for her. Mary Ann got married with Fred Trump in 1936 when she was 24.

After getting married, Marry Ann was officially known as a housewife but she was more than that. She could drive a Rolls-royce and help her husband with his real estate business. At her senior life period, Marry Ann had become a philanthropist, helping many patients with brain paralysis and mentally handicapped people.

She had gave birth to five children and four of them had grown up healthily. All of her children had been in their career with much achievements, including her second son, Donald Trump, the current American president.

Mary Ann had been successful in both her love and marriage. She had been married with Fred Trump for 63 years when Fred Trump died in 1999 at 93 while she died the second year at 88. she had been a good wife as well as an excellent mother.
