Jane is now working as an French editor in a French company subsidized in Shanghai, a modern city of China. At the beginning, Jane was not quite used to it as there was always a jet lag she had to adjust. Sometimes she would even complain the hot weather in summer and severe traffic jam on her way to work everyday during the first three months of this job. As time goes by, Jane changed gradually with her patience, discernment and deligence. Now everyday by the time she is going to be off work of a day, she would say to herself, “isn’t it happy when you’re off work of a day while others begin start work of a whole day?”
As long as you’re willing to accept and accommodate, you’ll change and grow. So does Jane. Born in a common family but rich country as France, Jane grew up relatively smooth gaining her bachelor degree in France and choze to work in a foreign country due to her strong curiosity. She had the habit of writing something everyday since her school days and this habit had made her good at writing and reading all these years and that’s why now she was an professional editor. Like everyone who suffers a lot when going abroad, Jane also suffers from loneliness and sometimes small health problems due to quite different climate conditions. However, Jane kept her old habit of writing everyday and gradually got to know new friends from whom she can share something. Moreover, she was a person full of discernment, she kept eye on many things touched her or impressed her and write them down in her articles. With her strong endurance, patience and deligence, she is now capable of her job and learn to enjoy both her work and spare time.
At the beginning, she nearly spent her spare time alone writing or reading something, or waiting the awake time of her parents in France to share them with her feelings. Now she can work more efficiently to finish her work at the normal work time and prepare more meetings or other social activities with local friends by her side. Now it’s the time to be off work and Jane is going to take part in a speach contest held by a local talk show club. Thinking of her old friends in her mother country, she think and smile: “Isn’t It Happy When You’re off Work of A Day While Others Begin to Start work of A Whole Day?”
