Why Air Conditioner and Cotton Quilt Helps Me Sleep Better in Autumn?

When it comes to sleep, we instinctly will think of different facilities helpes us falling asleep or the factors affecting our sleep quality. People have different life habits and our habits in sleep may be also quite different. I like autumn pretty much mainly because I can sleep better in this season. My sleep quality in this seaon is the best compared with that in the other seasons all over the year. I can enjoy better sleep quality in this season with the help of an air conditioner and my cotton quilt.


Air conditioner is still necessary in autumn for me.

In some countries in South Asia area, air conditioners are necessary in the whole year. Living in Southest Asia, I still need an air conditioner to fall asleep sometimes in autumn night though the night temperature is lower than the day temperature. First, night temperature still can come to 25℃ or even higher, which may make us feel still hot on a sheet. An air conditioner can help keep the temperature a little bit down. Second, getting through a long hot summer with the air conditioner, we’re already used to the tiny noise from fans of the air conditioner, which may cover some bad noise from outside. If keeping the air conditioner open for a whole night isn’t suitable for you, you can try to set on the timer to keep the time of opening shorter. Then you can totally relax and enjoy your sleep.


Cotton quilt brings me much comfort.

Researchers carrying study on sleep have already estimated that quilts or sheet made from cotton are beneficial for skin of our human body and can help us fall asleep quickly. But you should note that cotton quilt may still be too warm in autumn and need to be cooled before you going to sleep. Studies have exmained that temperature of the quilt should be fit with your body and then can help you enjoy your sleep more comfortably and quickly. I have tried it and found that I can always enjoy a sound sleep by covering my cotton quilt which is cooled for about 15 minutes in advance before my lying on my bed. Moreover, cotton pajamas are also necessary for guaranteeing a good quality of sleep because cotton materials are endowed with goof performance in absorbing sweats of human body and keeping comfortable.


Sleeping position also matters.

Do you often lie on your back or lie on one side to fall asleep? Scientists have discovered that your sleeping positions also affect your sleeping quality. Lying on one side means that your body can be connected with more air and your body temperature can be cooler in the night. And your sense of comfort will also be better than the position you lie on your back.
