Is the tension in your relationship a relatively new problem? Look around at yoru demands and check your schedules to see if you're just too crazy to find time for each other? Are you both feeling stressed and is it carrying over to your relationship or marriage? Then you could just take a break together.

This could be as simple as clearing your schedules to do nothing but hang out together on the couch at home. You can have a walk or watch television. Go to bed early and just cuddle and talk. Acknowledge the fact that you both are feeling overworked and underappreciated. Taking such kind of mental break can rejuvenate your mind and soul but it will also help you and your partner's relationship. Practice being a good listener, be open and honest about what's troubling you and you can start over the next day with a blank state.

Sometimes it can be good for you and your significant other to take time away from the chaos that is life by actually going on a vacation. It could be as short as an overnight stay or as long as you think you realistically need. You could stay as close to home as far away as you both desire.

Trips are important because you can deal with what's going on with your relationship as well as spend quality time together that can make you bond stronger than ever. Turn off your phones and to leave the stresses of work behind. If you both are relaxed and enjoy yourselves more, it would be much easier for you to bond closer.

Make new memories. Even if you are going somewhere for a day or two there are plenty of places to go. Go out to dinner and soak up every moment of the place you are visiting. Sleep until you aren't tired anymore. Make love in the middle of the day. When you have the ability to let your guard down and just worry about each other, you are able to love without reserve. Be reminded of who your spouse or partner is and why you love them. When you return home, it will be easier to keep those memories alive.

When you return home, try to remember all of the wonderful things you did on your trip with your spouse or partner. Just like the list you made describing all their best qualities, you will want to think of the time together when you find yourself becoming frustrated with your significant other. Recall the wonderful time you being together. Think of how happy and carefree you were while you were away from home. Think positively, you are both strong and committed to each other, and you are capable of feeling the same way even though you are at home and have other things demanding for your time and attention in life. There will be opportunites for you to spend time like that with your spouse or partner. Your endeavor will be finnaly rewarded.

Another way to recall the way you felt on this vacation is to create a photo album or scrapbook about your experiences, just like you have mementos from the beginning of your relationship, making something from this stage of your relationship is also important because it will show how far you've come and how you and your partner still have feelings for one another. You can look back at it when times are tough. It can be something that motivates you to be the best partner or spouse that you can be so that you can continue to have special moments like those that you had on your vacation. Most importantly, having a recon of your good times together is a testament to your relationship and you should be proud of those memories.
