Creative Visualization
Applying the Law of Attraction towards the attainment of goals is not only possible but also represents one of the most potent applications of the Law. Called the process of creation, this is a power that can be utilized to physically manifest or turn into reality achieved goals and of the best steps towards accessing the power is through visualization.
Remember the idea behind the Law, like attracts like. When your mind is in synch with the same enemies or images that are in the mind, then the elements outside the mind, which has specifically the same set of energies will naturally tune into each other. This is where visualization takes place. This is a method that combines a form of meditation, creativity and the goal that you desire.
Begin this method by stating your goals, although simply thinking about it will suffice, you will be able to add more power on your mind's ability to attract by either writing it or verbalizing it. Writing a goal is an important pair for creative visualization. While you can do these writing simultaneously with visualization, coming up with a goal statement is often highly recommended.
One of the frequently used principles in goal setting is the SMART method. This is an acronym that stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound. A poorly stated goal can be, “I will lose weight.” A SMART goal can be stated as “By end of 2015, I will have lost 20 pounds or an average of 4 pounds per month.” In this goal, you know your targets, you can track your progress and you have a time limit to challenge and motivate. When you have this SMART goal, you are already creating imagery in your mind on exactly what you will look like when you have achieved this goal.
To achieve creative visualization, begin by achieving a meditative state. Clear your mind of any distractions and fill your mind with thoughts of the images that best portray a realized goal. If it is losing weight, visualize how your ideal body will look like. If it is overcoming shyness, visualize the way you speak, move or behave while having a confident demeanor. Be as detailed as you can with your visualization. Now that you have this image locked in within your mind, keep this image with you everywhere you go. Call on to this image, when you are confronted by obstacles that prevent it from becoming reality and continue to act on steps that directly bring you closer to it.
Transformation: Satisfaction
You will notice that the more you keep this imagery in your mind the more obstacles are overcome and the more steps are successfully taken. Soon, the imagery that you have that is meant to be achieved in the future, slowly melds into the present. If your goal is to lose weight, you will soon find your present body matching your idealized body. If your goal is to become confident, the way you imagine your actions and behavior to be when you are confident, are actually being done in the present.
This is the power of the Law, the more you think about that which you desire, the more you attract the very same thing. The more you attract it, the more real it becomes. Soon you will have your goals achieved; your actions achieve results and your dreams are being fulfilled.
